Documentary – “9/11: The Lost Hero”
September 8, 2015 @ 10:00 pm - 11:00 pm
9/11: The Lost Hero, the story of Jason Thomas, will be shown on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10:00pm ET, 9:00pm CT on Destination America Network.
When the World Trade Center fell after being attacked by terrorists on September 11, 2001, two Port Authority police officers, Will Jimeno and John McLoughlin, were badly injured and buried in the wreckage of 5 WTC. They were among the last people to be saved. Former Marine Jason Thomas was one of the people who rescued them.
World Trade Center, the 2006 fictionalized film of their rescue left out his part of the story, which is told in the one-hour documentary 9/11: The Lost Hero
