9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Commemoration of end of the recovery effort

On Thursday, May 28, 2015, the National September 11th Memorial Museum will hold an evening of tribute and remembrance to commemorate the 9/11 rescue, recovery and relief efforts in the aftermath of the terrorist attacks of 9/11 at the 9/11 Memorial Museum. From 4:00pm until midnight, the Museum will be open only to the 9/11 rescue and recovery worker community.
A ceremony will take place in the Museum’s Foundation Hall at 6:00pm, which will include a moment of silence for those who have died of site-related illnesses.
Additional events will be held on May 29 and May 30 to mark the 13th anniversary of the official end of the recovery operation.
