9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Performance of On the Transmigration of Souls, commemorative 9/11 piece

The New York Choral Society presents a concert at Carnegie Hall on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. The program is On the Transmigration of Souls, by John Adams and Paul Hindemith’s When Lilacs Last in the Dooryard Bloom’d.
On the Transmigration of Souls was commissioned by the New York Philharmonic to commemorate the first anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Singers scheduled to appear are baritone Lee Poulis and Abigail Fischer, mezzo-soprano. The Mannes Orchestra and The Young People’s Chorus of NYC will perform.
