9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Fundraiser for the families of Police Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos

There will be a fundraiser at Joe Broadway’s in Staten Island beginning at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 3, 2015 for the families of Police Officer Wenjian Liu and Police Officer Rafael Ramos, the two NYPD officers who were murdered on December 20, 2014. The event is expected to continue until early Sunday morning.
A donation at the door of $10.00 will give access to four live bands and DJs performing throughout the event. During daytime hours there will also be face painting and other activities for children. There are also raffles and a 50/50 planned.
20% of the amount raised by food and liquor sales will be donated to the officers’ families and to the Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association Widows’ and Children’s Fund.
