9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 36th Annual Marty & Tom Celic 4-Mile Run
September 1, 2012 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
The 36th Annual Marty and Tom Celic 4-Mile Run will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Clove Lakes Park in Staten Island, NY. Children’s races will follow the adult race, starting at 11:00am.
The run honours two brothers, FF Marty Celic, of Ladder 18, who died fighting a fire in 1976, and his brother Tom, who was killed at Marsh & McLennan on September 11, 2001
The fees to run are: by mail or online in advance – $25.00/runner; on race day – $30.00/runner. To register online, please click here. There are no guarantees of t-shirts for race-day entrants. You can pick up your race packet in advance on Thursday August 30, 2012 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at Jody’s on 372 Forest Avenue on Staten Island.
The Celic Run funds an annual track scholarship at Monsignor Farrell High School, where both Marty and Tom ran.
