Panel of September 11th advocates to speak

November 13, 2014 @ 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

A panel discussion with September 11th advocates will take place at Raritan Valley Community College on Thursday, November 13, 2014 at 6:30pm.

Edie Lutnick will moderate the discussion. Lutnick is the co-founder and president of the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund, and sister of Gary Lutnick, who was one of the 658 Cantor employees killed in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.

Panelists will include Anthony Gardner, founder of WTC United Family Group, who lost his brother Harvey in the attacks; Diane Horning, co-founder of WTC Families for Proper Burial, whose son Matthew was killed at Marsh & McLennan; Bill Keegan of Heart 9/11, who worked the recovery operation and who is retired from the Port Authority Police Department; Patricia Reilly, whose sister Lorraine was killed in the attacks while working for AON; Charles Wolf, whose wife Katherine was killed at Marsh & McLennan and Juliet McIntyre, who volunteered for 21 days at the site and worked for the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund.

Lutnick will sign copies of her book, An Unbroken Bond after the talk. An Unbroken Bond tells the story of how the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund came to be. Proceeds from the sale of the book will go to Raritan Valley Community College’s Victims of the World Trade Center Scholarship Fund and to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund.

Lutnick will speak at a related event at the College Atrium at 1:00pm.

The panel, book signing and talk are free. The public is welcome to attend. To learn more, please call Sarah Costello at 908-526-1200, ext. 8411 or click here.
