9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Ken Waldie Memorial Celebration

The ninth annual Ken Waldie Memorial Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 6:00pm – midnight at the Jugo-Slav Club in Bethel Park, PA.
There will be a cash bar. Lots of finger food will be provided. Casual dress and ’70s tunes are required.
$30.00 per person. Funds raised support the Ken Waldie Memorial Scholarship Fund
The Ken Waldie Memorial Scholarship is the largest scholarship given to a BPHS student.
Kenneth E. Waldie, 46, was a passenger aboard American Airlines Flight 11 when it was hijacked by terrorists and crashed into Tower One of the World Trade Center. The father of 4 was a talented swimmer and basketball player who kept in touch with old friends. A US Navy veteran and graduate of the US Naval Academy, Ken used his skills in mathematics in his job at Raytheon Corporation.
