9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Memorial Mass for the 34th anniversary of the Waldbaum’s Fire

On August 2, 2012 at 10:30am, Engine 276/Ladder 156, Engine 254/Ladder 153, Battalion 33 and Battalion 42 will host a Memorial Mass commemorating the 34th anniversary of the Waldbaum’s Fire at St. Brendan’s Church located at 1202 Avenue O, in Brooklyn.
FDNY members killed in the Waldbaum fire of August 2, 1978: Lt. James E. Cutillo, of Battalion 33; Firefighter Charles S. Bouton, of Ladder 156; Firefighter Harold F. Hastings, of Battalion 42; Firefighter James P. McManus, of Ladder 153; Firefighter William O’Connor, of Ladder 156; and Firefighter George S. Rice, of Ladder 153.
All off-duty members of the FDNY, their families and friends are invited to attend. FDNY members, please wear Class As.
