9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Walk with Joe – Memorial 5-K walk

$15.00Walk with Joe, a memorial 5-K walk, in honor of 3 Manalapan residents: Patrick “Joe” Driscoll, Christopher Gray and Thomas McCann, will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at Monmouth Battlefield State Park in Manalapan. On-site registration and shirt pick-up begins at 8:30am. The ceremony begins at 10:00am.
Patrick “Joe” Driscoll, one of the heroes of Flight 93 along with the other passengers and crew, stopped Flight 93 from hitting its target in Washington, D.C. Chris Gray, a Manalapan resident, was working atop Tower 1 at Cantor Fitzgerald on September 11, 2001. FF Tom McCann, also from Manalapan, was 4 months away from retiring from the FDNY when he responded to the terrorist attacks.
