9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Commemorative flag-raising – Cape Girardeau, MO

The Southeast Missouri State University will commemorate the anniversary of the terrorist attacks with flag ceremonies – a flag-raising ceremony at 7:46am (the first plane struck World Trade Center 1 at 8:46am EST) and a flag-lowering ceremony at 7:30pm on Thursday, September 11, 2014.
Both ceremonies will be held at the flagpole in front of Academic Hall.
The public is welcome.
