Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation Comedy Night

The 13th annual Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation Comedy Night will be held at the New Seabury Country Club in Mashpee on Sunday, July 13, 2014. The evening will begin with a cocktail and horsd’oeuvres reception at 7:00pm. Comedy starts at 8:00pm.
Some of the comedians scheduled to perform are Steve Sweeney, Dave Russo, Tony V, Christine Hurley, Brad Mastrangelo and Graig Murphy of The Jokers Comedy Show. Joe Finn will host once again.
Tickets cost $50.00. Please call Joe for tickets at 617-755-3386. All proceeds from the evening will benefit the Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation. The Foundation was named for and honors Mark Bavis, who was murdered by terrorists on September 11, 2001 when hijackers flew United Flight 175 into Tower 2 of the World Trade Center. Bavis, 31, was travelling as a scout for the Los Angeles Kings hockey club.
The Mark Bavis Leadership Foundation golf outing will be held, as always, on the day after the comedy show. Please see the separate listing for details about this year’s golf outing.
