9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Learn about the Edmonds, WA 9/11 Memorial

April 24, 2014 @ 1:30 pm - 2:30 pm

At 1:30pm on April 24, 2014, Edmonds firefighter David Erickson will speak about the 9/11 memorial planned for Edmonds at the Friends of the Edmonds Library meeting. Admission is free.

The centerpiece of the memorial will be a 1-ton steel beam from the former World Trade Center.  The Fallen Firefighter Memorial Park currently at Station 17 in downtown Edmonds will be enlarged to accommodate the beam.

The meeting will be preceded by coffee at 1:00pm.
