9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Ninth Annual James D. McNaughton Benefit

January 25, 2014 @ 1:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The 9th annual James D. McNaughton Benefit will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 1:00pm–8:00pm at Mulcahy’s Pub in Wantagh.

There will be food, drink specials, live music from several bands, including the Nerds, and a special appearance  from comedian Dave Attell.

Admission is $20.00. The proceeds from the event will be donated to several deserving charities – the James McNaughton Foundation, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 9-1-1 Veterans, the Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Staff Sgt. James “Jimmy” McNaughton was the first NYPD officer to give his life for his country while serving as a soldier in Iraq. He was shot by a sniper on August 2, 2005. He was 27 and following in the NYPD footsteps of both his parents.
