December 14, 2013 @ 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Lauren Manning, survivor of the September 11th terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, will be the keynote speaker at both the University of North Alabama’s commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 14, 2013 at 10:00am and 2:00pm.

Manning has written a book, Unmeasured Strength, about her recovery and her husband Greg, wrote Love, Greg & Lauren about the ordeal. Both books were bestsellers. Lauren Manning was chosen to run with the Olympic torch, was named one of the 15 Extraordinary Women of 2003 by Biography magazine, and was chosen as one of CNN’s Most Intriguing Newsmakers of the Past 25 Years.
