Texas Hold ‘Em Night for Tewksbury 9/11 Memorial
November 14, 2013 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm
The Tewksbury 9/11 Memorial Committee will hold a Texas Hold ’em Night from 6:00pm to 10:00pm on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Tewksbury Country Club. Funds raised will go towards maintenance and improvements to the Tewksbury 9/11 Memorial.
Maintenance for the Memorial costs between $3,500 and $5,000 annually. This year, necessary repairs include electrical work and damage to the seam where marble and concrete meet.
Tewksbury lost two residents, Peter Gay and Peter Hashem, in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. Both men were passengers aboard American Airlines Flight 11, which was the first plane terrorists flew into the World Trade Center.
A ticket for 7,500 chips and a dinner buffet will cost $75.00, and a ticket for dinner only costs $30.00. The evening will feature a cash bar, 20-minute blinds, silent auction and raffles.
To pre-register or to buy tickets, please contact Bob Fowler at 978-265-4244 or Jim Carter at 978-764-7894 or jec51@comcast.net.
