9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Blind World Trade Center Survivor to Speak at Breakfast

On Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 8:00am to 10:00am, at the Disability Employment Awareness Breakfast at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Knoxville, author, disability activist & 9/11 survivor Michael Hingson will discuss his escape from the 78th floor of the World Trade Center.
Hingson is blind and escaped Tower 1 with a colleague and his guide dog Roselle.
