9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The Town of Deerpark will hold a memorial service at 8:30am on Wednesday, September 11 at Deerpark Town Hall on the 12th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on New York, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.
Port Jervis schoolchildren and the military will participate in the ceremony.
Refreshments will be served after the service.
A list of local U.S. military personnel on active duty will be read. Deerpark officials are seeking names of active servicemen and women for this reading.
