9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 9/11 Memorial Ceremony, Chambersburg, PA

There will be a 3:00pm 9/11 memorial ceremony on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Letterkenny Chapel in Chambersburg.
Retired Fire Chief Terry Shaffer of the Shanksville Fire Department will speak about his experience on September 11, 2001, when hijacked United Airlines Flight 93 crashed into a field in his small town. Other speakers and special music are also planned.
After the ceremony, there will be an EMS flag display and the 9/11 Memorial Time Capsule will be dedicated. The day’s events will culminate with a 21-gun salute and the playing of Echo Taps.
