9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. TV program “Hero Dogs of 9/11”

Animal Planet will premiere Hero Dogs of 9/11, on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 8:00pm (ET/PT).
This is a one-hour documentary that pays special tribute to three survivors of the terrorist attacks of September 11th and to the more than 300 search-and-rescue teams (dogs and handlers) who came to Lower Manhattan to help during the aftermath of the attacks.
Hero Dogs of 9/11 can be seen on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 8:00pm (ET/PT). Glory Hounds encores Tuesday, September 10, 2013 from 9:00-11:00pm (ET/PT).
Immediately following Hero Dogs of 9/11, Animal Planet continues to commemorate working dogs with a special re-airing of the two-hour documentary, Glory Hounds, featuring highly trained military working dogs that track insurgents and find explosive devices in Afghanistan.
