9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Remembrance Ceremony – Rochester, NY
September 8, 2013 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
There will be a September 11th Remembrance Ceremony on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 10:00am at the Rochester Christian Church.
If you are participating in the ceremony, please arrive by 9:00am. Active members of service should wear Class A dress uniforms. If authorized, all shields and badges should be covered with a black sash.
The presentation of the colors will begin the ceremony at 10:00am.
Featured speaker will be Frank Doig, NYPD ESU, who worked the WorldTradeCenter recovery operation.
After the service, there will be a first responders’ lunch. Please reserve your lunch spot by August 1, 2013.
