9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Concert for Remembrance, Nyack, NY

The annual Concert for Remembrance will be held Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 5:00pm at Grace Episcopal Church in Nyack, NY, in memory of those lost on September 11, 2001. Edward Simons, Music Director, and Holly Druckman will conduct. There is no charge for admission. Families of victims are especially welcome.
The Concert for Remembrance 9/11 Orchestra is composed of professional musicians from orchestras in the Greater NY/NJ Metropolitan area and gifted students who all volunteer their time for this concert.
Barbara Allen, American Ballet Theatre’s principal harpist, will open the program, followed by the world premier of “Resolution”, a quiet and reflective piece composed by Jeremy Wall to remember especially all of the victims of September 11th. Mr. Wall is a founding member of Spyro Gyra and a Grammy Award nominee on numerous occasions. Holly Druckman will conduct.
Jacqueline Drechsler, flute, Heather Vogel and Alison Crowther, violins, will perform a Le Clair duet, with the third part composed by Edward Simons.
The concert will conclude with Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 23, K. 48, Jeremy Wall, soloist, with Edward Simons conducting.
