9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. 5-K Run to benefit daughters of Det. Peter Figoski

Cypress Hills Cemetery will hold a 5-K run through the cemetery grounds to raise funds for the family of NYPD Detective Peter Figoski, who was shot and killed in the line of duty in December 2012. Please join them on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at 9:00am to participate.
The fee to run is $25.00. The funds collected from registration fees and any donations made will assist Det. Figoski’s four daughters with their education costs.
Registration can be made online by clicking here or on the site at 8:00am on the day of the run. If you register online, there will also be a $2.50 processing fee.
The course will be challenging and will take runners by the graves of (among others) baseball legend Jackie Robinson, movie star Mae West, jazz great Eubie Blake and composer and pianist Ignacy Paderewski.
Refreshments will be provided.
