Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The annual Woodallkids Carnival will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2014, from 11:00am to 2:00pm in the courtyard of the Brent Woodall Foundation’s offices in Irving, TX. Admission is free. Cypress Hills Cemetery will hold their second annual 5-K run through the cemetery to honor NYPD Detective Peter Figoski of the 75th Precinct, who was shot and killed in the line of duty in December 2012.
