9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The NYPD football team will play the PO Omar Edwards Memorial Football Game on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 7:00pm. The location will be announced soon. The NYPD Finest will play the NY Corrections Dept. – NY’s Boldest. Tickets cost $10.00 for each adult; children attend for free. Tickets will be available at the game. Tunes for Toolie, a fundraiser for the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation in honor of beloved FF Joseph Toolie O'Toole, will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 2:00pm—11:00pm at the Bronx's Gaelic Park. The FDNY Hockey Team will play the New York Whalers in a charity hockey game on Saturday, May 13, 2017 to raise money for the family of Firefighter William Tolley, who was killed in the line of duty last week.
