9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The Dom Mircovich Memorial Run/Walk (formerly the Closter 5-K Run/Walk) will be held on Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 9:30am. The run will be held rain or shine. The fee to run is $15.00 + a $2.75 online sign-up fee until Friday, August 21, 2015. The price will increase to $20.00 after August 21, 2015 at 11:59pm. The 15th annual Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Race/Walk will take place at Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 9:00am. The adult race is a 5-K. A children’s run will follow the run for adults at 9:45am. There will be a post-race breakfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, toast and juice for all participants. The annual Walk with Joe will be held at Monmouth Battlefield State Park in Manalapan at 10:00am on Saturday, September 12, 2015. Walk with Joe is named for Patrick “Joe” Driscoll, 70, who was aboard Flight 93 when it was attacked by terrorists on September 11, 2001. The annual Remember Me Run will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery on Saturday, September 12, 2015 to honor the first responders who gave their lives while responding to the terrorist attacks on World Trade Center. The 2-mile run through the cemetery will begin promptly at 2:00pm and conclude with a memorial service. The 14th annual Arlington Police, Fire & Sheriff 9/11 Memorial 5-K will be held at 6:00pm on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the DoubleTree Hotel in Arlington. The awards will be given at 7:30pm.
