9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. The Jersey City Police Department’s Detective Benevolent Society will hold a Day of Remembrance 5-K Walk to honor their officers killed in the line of duty on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Liberty State Park. The eighth annual Mark J. Ellis Memorial Walk will take place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Farmingdale State College. Registration will take place beginning at 9:00am at the Campus Center. Patrol Borough Brooklyn North (PBBN) will host a 5-K run in Brooklyn’s Cadman Plaza Park on Saturday, April 29, 2017, to benefit With Arms Wide Open, an NYPD charitable organization helping disabled children. Please save Sunday, May 21, 2017 for the 16th annual NYPD Memorial 5-K Run.
