9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Arts & Faith St. Louis will host the fourth annual 9/11 Interfaith Commemoration in Music on Sunday, September 7, 2014 at 5:30pm at Sheldon Concert Hall. The Fallbrook Firefighters’ Association will hold a 3-mile hike up Monserate Mountain in honor of the 343 FDNY firefighters who were murdered in the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 on Saturday, September 13, 2014. Hold the Door for Others will host its second annual Hold the Door 5-K run/walk fundraiser on Saturday, September 13, 2014 in Rockland Lake State Park. Registration will begin at 9:00am, with the run/walk at 10:00am. There will be staggered starting times for runners, walkers and families. The third annual two-mile Remember Me Run will take place at St. Michael’s Cemetery in Queens on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 3:00pm. On Sunday, September 14, 2014 and Monday, September 15, 2014, several FDNY members will ride bicycles from NYC to Montauk in honor of their fallen brothers.
