9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. “The Trees” screening

The Trees, a film five years in the making, will be shown on PBS on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 7:00pm in NYC. Please check your local listings for times.
The Trees tells the story of the trees on the 9/11 Memorial Plaza. Key to the story are Ann Van Hine, who lost her husband, Firefighter Bruce Van Hine, in the attacks and Ron Vega, a September 11th recovery worker with New York City’s Department of Design and Construction, who was instrumental in saving the Survivor Tree. Ann and Ron are both beloved Tribute Center volunteer guides.
