9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Shawn M. Nassaney Race/Walk

The 12th annual Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Race/Walk will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2012. At 12:45 pm, a pre-race ceremony will be held near the start line to remember Shawn, Lynn and all of those killed on September 11, 2001. The Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Race/Walk will be held at 1:00pm.
The fee to race for adults is $30.00; for students, the fee is $25.00. Proceeds benefit the Shawn M. Nassaney Memorial Scholarship at Bryant University and a similar scholarship at St. Raphael’s Academy in Pawtucket, RI.

Shawn Nassaney and his girlfriend Lynn Goodchild, both 25, were headed for a Hawaiian vacation aboard United Flight 175 on September 11, 2001.
