Run to Remember, the Oklahoma City Marathon

April 24, 2016

This year’s Oklahoma City Marathon, the Run to Remember, will be run on Sunday, April 24, 2016.

Voted one of the 12 ‘must-run’ marathons in the world by Runner’s World magazine, the Run to Remember honors the 168 people murdered in the bombing of the Alfred Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City on April 19, 1995. The Marathon is a hugely popular event, much loved by the local residents, who will cheer participants with enthusiasm. Many members of the September 11th community run in the event.

Runners and walkers can choose amongst the full marathon, a half marathon, a marathon relay, the Memorial 5-K and a kids’ marathon.
