9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. P.O. Mark Ellis Memorial Walk

The annual Mark Ellis Memorial Walk will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Farmingdale State College. The walk honors P.O. Mark Ellis of the NYPD, who was killed at the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.
Registration for the walk begins at 9:00am, and the walk itself starts at 10:00am. The route of the walk includes a moment of reflection at the Farmingdale State College 9/11 Memorial. The walk begins and ends at the Campus Center of the college. Refreshments will be served after the walk.
A suggested donation of $10.00 is requested of each walker. The proceeds from the walk will benefit the Mark Ellis Memorial Scholarship at the Farmingdale State College Criminal Justice Department. Mark Ellis graduated from the department in 1997.
