Michael Horrocks’ Induction into the Capital Area Chapter Sports Hall of Fame

The Capital Area Chapter Sports Hall of Fame’s 52nd annual induction banquet will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Red Lion Hotel Harrisburg East in Harrisburg, PA. The banquet begins at 3:00pm with a social hour with dinner following at 4:00pm and the induction ceremony at 5:00pm.
Included among the newest inductees to the Capital Area Chapter Sports Hall of Fame will be Michael Horrocks, who will be inducted for his football prowess.
Michael Horrocks, 38, was the co-pilot of United Airlines Flight 175, the plane that terrorists flew into the World Trade Center’s South Tower during the attacks of September 11, 2001. He left a wife and two young children.
Horrocks, aka “Rocks,” played quarterback for West Chester University. During his collegiate career, he completed 226 of 458 passes for 3,236 yards and 27 touchdowns.
Tickets for the banquet cost $35.00 for each adult, and $12.00 each for children 12 and under.
