Cancer survivors face numerous legal and financial challenges when battling cancer.

To increase your understanding of these challenges and of your rights in dealing with them, join Benjamin Smith, Esq., staff attorney at New York Legal Assistance Group, on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 6:00pm for a one-hour discussion of legal issues surrounding cancer.

Smith will discuss short-term disability (STD), Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and Supplemental Security Income (SSI), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). He will also talk about disclosure at the workplace and health insurance.
