9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Kevin Williams Alumni Baseball Game & Barbeque

Shoreham-Wading River alumni are invited to play in the Kevin Williams Foundation’s Alumni Baseball Game on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00am. Start time is 11:00am Complimentary barbeque will be available throughout the game.

All are welcome to cheer on past Shoreham-Wading River baseball players as they take the field once again.

Please email Sal Mignano at SWRbaseball@gmail.com if you would like to play. All players will be given SWR Alumni game shirts. The game and barbeque are sponsored by the Kevin Williams Memorial Foundation.

Kevin Williams was 24 and working for Sandler O’Neill & Partners in Tower 2 of the World Trade Center when it was attacked by terrorists on September 11, 2001. He was an exceptionally talented baseball player who loved the game, so the foundation in his honor sends underprivileged children to baseball camp.
