9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. This year’s FF John G. Chipura Blood Drive will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015, from 9:00am to 3:00pm at Our Lady Help of Christians Gymnasium on Staten Island.

John Chipura, a retired Marine, former NYPD officer and survivor of the Beirut Marine base terrorist attack, was killed in the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center while working for FDNY’s Engine 219. He was 39.
