9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Jimmy Straine Invitational

The fifteenth annual Jimmy Straine Invitational will be held on Monday, June 15, 2016 at the New Jersey National Golf Club.The schedule for this year’s outing is 11:30am – registration and lunch on the terrace, 12:45pm – all golfers to carts, 1:00pm – shotgun start. The cocktail reception begins at 6:00pm, as does the silent auction. Dinner will begin at 7:00pm.
The fee to golf is $275.00, which includes dinner. To attend only the dinner will cost $100.00. All funds raised will benefit the James J. Straine, Jr. Memorial Scholarship at Jimmy’s alma mater, Watchung Hills Regional High School in Warren, New Jersey and the NY Rescue Workers Detoxification Project.

James J. “Jimmy” Straine, Jr., 36, a fixed-income investment salesman at Cantor Fitzgerald, had just become a father for the second time on September 5, 2001. He was killed in the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center.
