9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Food Drive, Bergen County, NJ

To honour the victims of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the Volunteer Center of Bergen County will sponsor a county-wide food drive to benefit Englewood’s Center for Food Action. The event is being held in accordance with the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.
Canned and packaged foodstuffs may be left at the Volunteer Center’s offices in Hackensack on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 from 7:00am-7:00pm. Items in particular demand are healthy foods such as peanut butter, spaghetti sauce, canned soups, Parmalat milk, and cereal. Diapers are also in high demand.
