Fight blood cancers with Hudson River Swim for Life

September 29, 2013

The Hudson River Swim for Life will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2013.

The event raises funds for charities in the community. Proceeds of this year’s Swim for Life will help the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Blood cancers are rampant among World Trade Center recovery workers and survivors.

Those wishing to participate can choose from a three-mile swim, a one-mile swim or a kayaker assisting swimmers. All swimmers will be asked to raise pledges for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The event is non-competitive.

The route begins at the marina in Nyack, NY and proceeds to Kingsland Point Park in Sleepy Hollow.
