Emergency Preparedness Symposium

September 14, 2012 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Free

New York Downtown Hospital is pleased to announce that the Emergency Preparedness Symposium will take place on Friday, September 14, 2012, at Pace University in Lower Manhattan (in the Multipurpose Room at One Pace Plaza). The Symposium will run from 9:00am until 4:00pm and will focus on Integrated Emergency Communication Systems: Are we there yet?

Featured speakers will review and discuss the medical, governmental, corporate and community factors necessary for the Integration of Emergency Communication Systems.  An expert panel of emergency response personnel, health care professionals, and community leaders will explore current systems and needed enhancements. The emerging field of Crisis Mapping technologies, particularly as it was applied during the Haiti earthquake, will also be examined.

Space is limited, therefore early registration is encouraged.  To register, please email your name and title, institution, address, daytime phone number, and email address to Ms. Coleman: wanda.coleman@downtownhospital.org.  Once your request is received, you will receive an email confirmation within ten days if space is available.
The Symposium is provided without charge. Should your plans change, please notify us as soon as possible so we can make your space available to others.
