Carry On for Cayde

November 1, 2017 @ 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Cayde Nielsen is the 18-month-old son of NYPD Detective Eric Nielsen and Nassau County Police Officer Jaclyn Nielsen. He is battling Langerhans cell histiocytosis, a very rare pediatric cancer. So far, no treatment has worked.

Despite Hurricane Harvey, the Nielsen family will soon travel to Texas Children’s Cancer Center in Houston, where experts in this type of cancer treat patients.

Colleagues of the Nielsens are holding a fundraiser to assist the family with expenses on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 6:00pm until 10:00pm at Mulcahy’s Pub in Wantagh. An admission donation of $50.00 will include live music, a buffet and an open bar. Raffles and prizes will be available.

To learn more, please call Marisa at 516-713-0784, Keith at 516-523-4134, Ray at 516-578-5339, Frank at 516-721-7961, or John at 631-495-9641.
