9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. “Big Dog” Classic in Loving Memory of Teddy Maloney

October 2, 2015 @ 11:00 am - 6:30 pm

The 14th annual “Big Dog” Classic, honoring Teddy Maloney, will be held on Friday, October 2, 2015 at the Apawamis Club Rye, New York with registration beginning at 11:00am. The shotgun start will be at noon. Cocktails to follow the day’s golf from 5:00pm-6:30pm (Adults only, please).

The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and support for the Teddy Maloney ’88 Scholarship at Proctor Academy in Andover, NH. The scholarship is now at $62,000 and the Foundation’s goal is to fund the scholarship to $100,000 this year.

The fee to golf is $350.00. All proceeds will be donated to the 501(c)3 charity the Teddy Maloney Foundation.

Please bring your check for $350 payable to The Teddy Maloney Foundation or send it in advance to Rhys Brooks – 54 Island Drive, Rye, NY 10580. You can donate via check, credit card or gift stock directly to Proctor Academy. The links are on the lower left of the page and under the Designation choose “other” and write The Teddy Maloney ’88 Scholarship.

Edward Francis Maloney III, better known as Teddy, 32, left a pregnant widow and a 14-month-old daughter when he was killed by terrorists while working at Cantor Fitzgerald’s TradeSpark.
