9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Battle of the Badges Barbecue Cook-off

Ten uniformed members of the FDNY and NYPD will battle to see who can barbecue best on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at 9:00am in the Resorts World Casino parking lot in Queens. The winner will receive a Weber grill and a trip to the Bahamas.
The public is welcome. In addition to the cook-off, there will be food trucks, music, pony rides, face painting and games.
