One of the Moriches residents found dead on boat docked on Fire Island is 9/11 recovery worker

Police have identified the couple found dead, apparently of carbon monoxide poisoning, on a boat docked on Fire Island as  Peter D’Ancona, 54, and Tina Sgambati, 51, reports News 12 The Bronx.

Mr. D’Ancona was a retired U.S. Marine and also retired from the FDNY. He worked long hours at the recovery operation after the September 11th terrorist attacks.
