9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Moment of silence for the 20th anniversary of USS Cole bombing

At 11:18am on October 12, 2000, the guided-missile destroyer USS Cole was the target of a terrorist suicide attack in Yemen’s Aden Harbor. Seventeen U.S. Navy Sailors were killed and 37 were injured while saving their ship and colleagues.
