Wake for retired NYPD Officer Michael Joseph O’Toole

Retired NYPD Officer Michael Joseph O’Toole, 62, died unexpectedly on May 22, 2022 in Florida. He served the people of New York City from 1984 until 2004, including working for months at the recovery operations at the World Trade Center.
A native of Ireland, he was an internationally ranked wrestler.
His wake will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and again from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Weigand Brothers Funeral Home in Williston Park, NY.
His funeral Mass will be said at Saint Aidan’s R.C. Church in Williston Park, NY at 11:15am on Thursday, June, 2 2022. Burial will follow at St. Charles’ Cemetery in Farmingdale. The funeral Mass will be livestreamed (scroll down to “live”)
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Officer O’Toole’s memory to either the NYC PBA Widows’ and Children’s Fund or to the FF Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
