9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for retired FDNY Battalion Chief Stephen J. Geraghty

Retired FDNY Battalion Chief Stephen J. Geraghty, died of World Trade Center related illness on September 21, 2022. He served New York City for 41 years. He lost his brother, FDNY Battalion Chief Edward Geraghty, in the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
His wake will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm and again from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at St. Agnes Parish Center in Rockville Centre, NY.
His funeral will take place at St. Agnes Roman Catholic Cathedral at 10:45am on Monday, September 26, 2022. Burial will follow immediately at St. Charles’ Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the Geraghty family requests that donations be made to either the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation, the Fight for Firefighters Foundation, or the Ray Pfeifer Foundation.
