9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Wake for PAPD Officer Anthony Varvaro

Port Authority Police Officer Anthony Varvaro was killed in a car crash while en route to work at the 9/11 Memorial on September 11, 2022.
He was a major league baseball pitcher for six years before joining the PAPD in 2016.
His wake will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm and again on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, from 2:00pm until 5:00pm and from 7:00pm until 9:00pm at the Matthew Funeral Home in Staten Island.
The funeral will take place at Our Lady of Good Counsel on Staten Island at 10:30am on Thursday, September 15, 2022.
