9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Wake for FDNY FF Daniel R. Foley, R-3

FDNY FF Daniel R. Foley, of Rescue 3, died February 22, 2020 of World Trade Center-related pancreatic cancer. He was 46 and in his 21st year on the job.
He responded to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, where his only brother, FF Thomas J. Foley, was killed at the age of 32. Danny Foley then worked the entire recovery effort. A longtime member of Rescue 3, he was decorated for bravery on numerous occasions.
He leaves his widow, five children, and his sister.
His wake will be held from 3:00pm until 8:00pm on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 and from 3:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at the Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester, NY.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Holy Family Church in New Rochelle at 10:30am. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Nanuet.
The family requests memorial donations to either Gilda’s Club in White Plains, which has supported the Foley children, or the Firefighter Thomas J. Foley Foundation, which supports education efforts about 9/11.
