9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Veterans needed to carry the Ground Zero Flag in the 2019 Veterans Day Parade

Veterans (all branches of service, any geographic area of service) are being recruited by the United War Veterans Council for a fourth year. Fifty veterans are needed to carry the 30’ x 50’ foot “Ground Zero Flag” in the 2019 NYC Veterans Day Parade on Monday, November 11, 2019.
Details are still being finalized (including report time and precise location), but please plan on spending the morning and early afternoon at the parade.
Veterans only, please. You MUST register in advance for this event here. Last-minute walk-ins are not accepted.
Please wear apparel (t-shirt, sweatshirt, jacket, hat, etc.) showing your affiliation. “Affiliation” can mean your branch of service, your preferred VSO, or another veteran organization. Military uniforms (worn in accordance with military regulation) are also welcome.
