9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Rockland Community College Memorial Dedication Ceremony

From 8:00am to 9:30am on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Rockland Community College, all are invited to come to a dedication ceremony of the September 11th Memorial Garden.

During the ceremony, the garden’s centerpiece sculpture, Spirit Rising, by Rockland County artist Eric Laxman will be unveiled. The 7-foot tall sculpture incorporates several pieces of steel from the World Trade Center site.

The names of those victims  of the attacks who had ties to Rockland County will be read by student veterans.

The September 11th Memorial Garden is on the Rockland Community College campus behind the Technology Center.
