9/11 Tribute Center programs are offered throughout the year. Lectures, educational workshops and support programs are available to unite family members who lost loved ones, survivors, Lower Manhattan residents, rescue and recovery workers and volunteers who assisted in the aftermath of 9/11. Remembrance Ceremony – Great Falls, VA
September 11, 2021 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm
On Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 7:00pm., the annual September 11 Remembrance Ceremony will be held at the Great Falls Freedom Memorial to honor all who died on that day and its aftermath, including six residents of Great falls. The event will include a keynote speaker, patriotic songs, a raising of the flags by the Boy Scouts, and a candle-lighting.
The ceremony is open to all. Parking is available in the library parking lot. In case of rain, the ceremony will move to the library meeting room. Limited seating and shelter will be provided. Attendees are encouraged but not required to bring portable chairs.
